Constance "Sexy Dancer" English
Executive Vice President
In 2002 Connie, affectionately known as “Sexy Dancer,” attended a line dance class in Trenton, NJ taught by Kenny J. She became connected to line dancing immediately and began going to class every week. Connie practice the line dances every chance she got, whether at home or at work, and if she did not know a step or pattern she would call someone and ask. You could depend on Connie bringing a pad to class to write down the steps.
Connie went to various dance functions and was exposed to other forms of dance such as Two-Step (Strand), Bop, and Cha Cha. She showed so much interest in wanting to learn how to do various forms of dance, to include ballroom, that she did just that. However, it was through Kenny J’s line dance class she was exposed to the Two-Step and Bop instructors; who later formed a performance group out of Philadelphia, which she is a member of, known as Sheer Fantasy.
She later joined the Atrium Dance Studio and through their teachings she expanded her dancing repertoire to several Latin ballroom dances such as Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Rueda. She is currently a member of two Intermediate Level performance teams at the Atrium Dance studio, performing Salsa and Rueda. She is also an original and current member of the I am Kenny J Productions Performance/Competition Line Dance team "Sophisticated Funk”. She was voted best female Bopper by the Willingboro VFW. she took First Place in the Dance around Town Bop Competition sponsored by DEA Productions along with her steady dance partner and husband Herman "Hee Too Smooth" English.
Connie is a very versatile dancer and continues to develop her dancing abilities. She was educated in the Trenton Public Schools, graduating in 1983 from Trenton Central High School where she was a member of the Cheerleading squad and track team, she attended Mercer County College where she earned her Associates in Applied Science. After working in Banking as a Teller for many years, she realized the need to further herself so she enrolled in the Cittone Institute earning her degree in Business. Upon graduation from Cittone, Connie changed career paths and became involved in the Labor Industry and is employed by CWA Local 1040 as a Staff Representative/Organizer. She is currently enrolled in Labor Education Studies at Rutgers - The State University. Upon Graduation it is her desire to attend Law School, specializing in Labor Law.
As a mother, a wife and student, Connie still finds the time to practice several days per week and looks forward to the weekends where she can do her “Sexy Dancing”.
