Lynda "Wyld Chyld" Carter
Vice President of Public Relations
 Born in Trenton New Jersey, Lynda started dancing at the young age of 6. She attended dance class at the YWCA in downtown Trenton, NJ with Wanda Austin and Rochelle (Shelly) Johnson-Richardson. She learned African, ballet, jazz and modern dance. While in Trenton she had exposure to different aspects of the Trenton dance community, to include The Players Company and The Alvin Ailey Dance group. Lynda's dance lessons continued until age 12, when her family moved to Blackwood, NJ. There is where she attended and graduated from Highland Regional High School
Lynda developed an interest in the R&B line dancing in 2002 and began dancing with Kenny J in Delran, New Jersey. A little while later,Lynda and Kenny realized they both worked for the same company, Independence Blue Cross of Philadelphia PA and a brother and sister relationship had just began to grow.
Kenny J very quickly recognized Lynda's dancing skills and she became one of his assistants in his classes; consistently assisting other students that were having trouble. However, Lynda would soon develop her own teaching style and it came in handy as she was asked to fill in for Kenny J as an instructor when he was called to IRAQ to serve his country. Upon his return, Lynda was offered an opportunity to have her own classes in Trenton and Pemberton, New Jersey
Lynda, an original member of the IAKJP performance team, Sophisticated Funk, had developed the nick name "Wyld Chyld," from her antics while on the dance floor. Some folks even called her the "female Kenny J," because of the "wyld" in her dance. With Kenny J's recommendation, Lynda would soon become a Dave Bush performer and would receive numerous praises for her performances.
Lynda is the Vice President of Public Relations for IAKJP, and in that capacity she is responsible for the overall hospitality of the IAKJP family. As VP of Public Relations Lynda is charged with "giving the people what they want." Lynda is the liaison between you and IAKJP.
